The BBC iPlayer application allows you to view the contents of its channels whenever available. In other words, whenever you're in a place that's authorized to receive those broadcasts (basically in British territory). It offers us the following features to be able to watch its programs online via streaming:
- Tune into its live TV broadcasts.
- Play any of its programs up to 30 days after they were broadcast.
- Download programs to watch them offline later on.
- Browse through the categories of programs and channels.
- Watch the programs on your TV through Chromecast.
- Create a user account and synchronize all your devices.
You'll be able to watch shows of the likes of Eastenders or Doctor Who.
The application's design is quite sober and functional, therefore, it's easy to browse through the different categories and find the program you want. It will take you less than a minute to open the application and start watching your favorite program. The latter can be downloaded, added to your wishlist or shared by means of email and instant messaging apps with your contacts.
